 Autumn festival, held for the first time in 2010.

Sapporo Performance Carnival "Dai-Don-Den!"

 In the central areas including the Ekimae-street (north-south street between Sapporo sta. and Odori sta.) changed into vehicle-free square, where about 1,000 performers both from Japan and abroad show their amusing performance during 2 days.

Kita no shukaku Festival, Otaru Wine Carnival (Otaru City)

 Kita no shukaku (north harvest) festival and Otaru wine Carnival are held on a hill from where you can see Otaru City and Ishikari Bay. Direct sales of local specialties, sales of Otaru Winery draft beer, stage events, etc. are held here.

Tour de Hokkaido

 650 km cycle road race (the longest in Japan), starting from Hakodate City and going through Donan and Doo Regions during 5 days. The 4th stage (Monday, September 20th (National Holiday) is a criterium (lap race) that will be held in Moerenuma Park.

Hamamasu Furusato Festival (Ishikari City)

Location Car Park of Kawashimo Seaside Park (event square) (Ishikari City, Hamamasu-ku, Kawashimo)

・By car: approx. 76km, approx. 1:40' from JR Sapporo Station (from Sapporo, take national road 231 in direction of Rumoi. The Park is on the left, along the road)
・By bus: at Chuo Bus Sapporo Terminal, take "Nihon-kai Rumoi" bus (Satsuhama line), get off at Kawashimo (approx. 2 hours), and walk about 5 min.

Ishikari Salmon Festival (Ishikari City)

 Big event of Ishikari’s “Salmon Village”. “Shake no tsumitori” (Salmon fishing) Ishikari special product event and the sale of morning fished salmons are to be held. You can enjoy the magnificent view over Ishikara River (Hokkaido heritage) from the sky, by helicopter.

・By car: approx. 45 min. from Sapporo downtwon.

・By bus: take Chuo Bus (Ishikari Line) at "Chuo Bus Sapporo Terminal" or "Tetsudo Byoin Mae", and get off at "Ishikari Onsen Mae" (approx. 60 min., \670).

Sapporo Salmon Festa

 Festival that celebrates the return of Salmons in Toyohira River, in Sapporo. A “Salmon weight quiz” (participants have to guess the weight of salmons that will come back this year) and Quiz Rally where winners will be awarded salmon jerkies, will be organized. A lottery with salt salmons or local fresh agricultural products for lots will also be held. Free admission.

 Come and try salmon pot, salmon roe lunch box, and brook trout fishing.

 29th Ainu traditional ceremony to thank gods for their blessings.
