Hiraoka Park, in a residential area, is known for its 1,200 plum trees, which bloom in May. The park developers retained the original topography. Stroll through forests and along the Sanri River.
At the west side of the park, on the Sanri River, is a 9-hole “park golf” course. At the east side of the park are tennis courts, a baseball diamond and “gateball” courts. The park is known as a park for sports.

Access (to the plum grove): From Oyachi Subway Sta. (Tozai Line), take the “O 66” or “O 67”Chuo Bus to the Hiraoka go-jo roku-chome bus stop.
Or from Shin Sapporo Subway Sta., take the “Shin 111” Chuo Bus or JR Hokkaido Bus to the Hiraoka roku-jo yon-chome bus stop.
Access (to the sports facilities): From Shin Sapporo Subway Sta., take the “Shin 111” Chuo Bus or JR Hokkaido Bus to the Hiraoka koen higashi ni-chome bus stop.
