Miyanomori Ski Jump Stadium

The Winter Olympic Games in 1972 were unforgettable memories not only for the citizens of Sapporo but for all Japanese. The games reached their peak at the 70-m ski jump. Japanese jumpers swept the gold, silver and bronze at this ski jump stadium.

Since then, the stadium has been a venue for competitions of international ski jumping, summer jumping and more. It’s a popular sightseeing spot in summer.

And don’t miss the other ski jump stadium in Sapporo: Mt. Okura Ski Jump Stadium (large hill).
