| How about taking a walk early in the
morning in Odori Park ? This park is an outdoor museum for you
to enjoy appreciating great works done by many excellent artists.
From the eastern end with TV tower to the western end with a
stone-built-Shiryokan ( The former Sapporo Court of Appeals ),
you find many artworks on the green, under the trees, by the fountain
or by buildings.
If you can start this morning tour, please try visiting the west
8 block with “Black Slide Mantra “ by Isamu Noguchi,
reflected in the sun rising from the direction of TV tower to
the east.
As this is not only an artwork but also a slide for us to try
on, take advantage of this time without being bothered with eyes
of passers- by or children coming to slide on in the day-time
!.
