| TakinoSuzuran Hillside National Park is the only national park in Hokkaido. Its natural splendor includes Ashiribetsu Falls, after which the park was named (“waterfall” is taki in Japanese).
Visitors observe wild birds and flowers. There’s a site for picnicking and auto camping at Auto Resort Takino. Pay an admission fee to enter Country Garden, where various trees and flowers make up lovely Hokkaido landscapes.
