The main venue for Sapporo Autumn Fest is Odori Park from 4-chome to 11-chome, where agricultural and livestock products, processed foods, wine and sake, and other items from all over Hokkaido are served. Booths feature popular food items like ramen, dishes made from local ingredients, and products from all corners of Hokkaido served by over 100 municipalities in the prefecture. Fans from around Japan flock to Chef’s Kitchen to enjoy dishes prepared by the chefs of Sapporo’s most popular restaurants. Each of the various festival venues has its own unique atmosphere and set of stores, so it’s fun walking around and enjoying the various delicacies. Tents with seats are available, so you don’t have to worry about getting wet, but there are some days when temperatures can get pretty cool, so it would be a good idea to bring along a jacket or sweater, just in case.

Popular local restaurants from a variety of genres assemble in full force. The wood-fired oven baked pizza produced by Italian restaurant "Orizzonte" in Chuo Ward is worth checking out. Their "Pizza Autumn Fest", which is topped with autumn Hokkaido ingredients, also makes its debut.

Their selection covers everything from a fresh seafood menu that includes grilled oysters, to cheeses from five local cheese factories, and Hokkaido-brewed wine and whiskeys by the glass. There are standing tables, so you can even go for a drink by yourself!

One of the highlight events of the "Sapporo Autumn Fest". In addition to "Sapporo Chef's Kitchen", where popular chefs of French, Italian and other cuisine prepare special menus, which change each day, the restaurants participating in "Sapporo Tapas", an event where you tour the restaurants of Sapporo, serve their dishes in the park! There is also a World Food Court, where chefs from various countries display their cooking skills.
