Moerenuma Park in Higashi-ku, Sapporo finally celebrated its grand opening on July 1st, 2005. The master plan drawn by sculptor Isamu Noguchi seventeen years ago was passed into the hands of those who followed his way and has now been completed as a park that in essence is entirely a single masterpiece itself.

"Sea Fountain" located at the center of the park spouts water up to 25 meters in height.
