A free Internet Wi-Fi service, aimed at foreign tourists visiting Sapporo, has begun
A Wi-Fi service aimed at foreign tourists visiting Sapporo, which allows them to use the Internet free-of-charge for 14 days, began in December 2013. If you pick up an “ID/PASS Card” from one of the issuing locations in Sapporo city and enter the ID and password printed on the card, you may use Wi-Fi free-of-charge at approximately 2,400 locations in Sapporo city. As it is a carrier-free service, it can be used without any restrictions on carrier or manufacturer.
